Kamiya Kaoru is a character from my all-time favorite manga and anime. The manga title is Ruro ni Kenshin Meiji Kenkaku Romantan. The literal translation is "Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Swordsman Romantic Story" or "Romance of a Meiji Swordsman", but the English title is usually just Rurouni Kenshin. The anime show series and movie were also titled Rurouni Kenshin, but the OVA's are titled Samurai X. Kaoru is the love interest of the main character, Himura Kenshin, and is a master swordswoman in her own right.
